*The mall map shown in the books and on the poster insert for series 1, 2, and 3 shows a total of 71 storefronts. This map doesn't show what level it is of, and is actually duplicated for each level on the inserts. Even with some stores occupying multiple levels like we see on the checklist inserts, there could be over 200 stores total in the mall. Hope they have a good leasing agent.

*As seen in the map, the layout of the mall is a replica of the [[Autobot]] [[insignia]], with the block parts containing stores and the lines being halls. This is curious as it appears Autobots and Transformers in general are fictitious in the ''BotBots'' franchise, with insignias showing up on toilet paper, video game cartridges, and inside watches. This may mean the entire mall is a licensed ''Transformers''-themed location. Another possibility is the energon cloud may have effected the mall itself in some way, changing its layout.

This article is about a character or concept that lacks a name, but has an official term or designation.
For more information, see Help:Nameless.

The name or term "Mall" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Mall (disambiguation).
Since the BotBots arrived, the mall is the most active it's been since the 80s.

The "mall" is a multistory shopping center that contains everything under one roof. Have a meal at one of the many restaurants! See a movie at the theater! Purchase items from a variety of unique stores! Get a game in at the arcade!

All of that changed one night when a mysterious energon power surge from the sky brought ordinary objects to robot life! Now every night its halls are filled by the many BotBot squads as they run wild, causing mischief wherever they go.

SCAUNCHBORO MAAAALL!!!!!

One stormy night, the mall was stuck by a bolt of energon power. It flowed throughout the mall, turning ordinary objects it into tiny robots! They swarmed the mall, wreaking havoc where they went with one even disabling the security cameras. Messy fun was had in the food court by the Greaser Gang. In the bathrooms the Toilet Troop tagged the stall with spraypaint and made chocolate bars into poo shapes. The Jock Squad played rough in the sports store, while in Lost and Found the Lost Bots jumped out of the shadows. Official Digital Commercial

[edit]

The gold trophy BotBots stood at the top of the mall's escalators, with various tribes cheering for them on the floor below. The tribes then began to compete to make the most mischief as the Goldrush Games began! Goldrush Games Digital Commercial

Mall locations

[edit]

Locations with BotBot squads

[edit]
The Con Crew and its subteams; Fantastic Fuelers, Line League, and Meet N' Greets don't really fit a specific mall store, as they are more convention-themed.

Other mall locations

Notes

[edit]
Without it saying "You are here", how will I know where I am?
  • The mall map shown in the books and on the poster insert for series 1, 2, and 3 shows a total of 71 storefronts. This map doesn't show what level it is of, and is actually duplicated for each level on the inserts. Even with some stores occupying multiple levels like we see on the checklist inserts, there could be over 200 stores total in the mall. Hope they have a good leasing agent.
  • As seen in the map, the layout of the mall is a replica of the Autobot insignia, with the block parts containing stores and the lines being halls. This is curious as it appears Autobots and Transformers in general are fictitious in the BotBots franchise, with insignias showing up on toilet paper, video game cartridges, and inside watches. This may mean the entire mall is a licensed Transformers-themed location. Another possibility is the energon cloud may have effected the mall itself in some way, changing its layout.
    • The second possibility is backed up slightly in the original commercial. The initial shot of the mall interior shows no signs of Autobot insignias. After the energon surge brings the BotBots to life, multiple Autobot insignias show up displayed in the security camera shot.
  • From the security camera footage, it appears the energon surge that brought the BotBots to life happened March 23rd.
  • The BotBots commercial displays the insignia of the Greaser Gang in the food court and Jock Squad in the sporting good store as official signage. The Toilet Troop logo also appears in the bathroom, though it appears more as a sticker on the wall. The poster checklists for series 1 to 3 and the Goldrush Games digital commercial also show stores with tribal insignias on them. This may indicate the insignia for each squad was adopted by them based on existing signage for the location where they were brought to life.
  • To preview the initial Botbots release, Hasbro sent various websites a box shaped like the mall containing all series 1 products.[2]
  • In the Goldrush Games Digital Commercial, the "Get Ready, Get Set…" stop motion and in the checklist inserts for Series 1 to 3, either the size of the mall is shown to be either very small, or the BotBots are very large. This makes the scale of the mall different then other appearances. As such this may represent a separate micro-continuity.
  • A few other features of the mall appear in various official character bios:[3]
    • Jet Setter has swam in multiple fountains in the mall, as well as rode every escalator up and down.
    • Rusty Von Cleave once scaled a 60-foot escalator.
    • Telly's game show includes prizes like a penny from a fountain and a gumball from a gumball machine.
