Kidrobot is an American producer and retailer of designer toys, founded in 2002. In late 2017, the company released a line of merchandise based on the art of Tom Scioli's Transformers vs. G.I. Joe.
Merchandise
[edit]Aside from the skateboard decks, merchandise in the Transformers vs. G.I. Joe line featured consistent designs across each "series"– to pick an example, each Cobra Commander product below is based on the same character design, with its physical dimensions being its major differentiating factor. Said designs are based on the vibrant, stylised art of Tom Scioli, featuring faux inked details and exaggerated proportions: the boys are broad-shouldered, the girls are svelte, and the robots are boxy and retro.
Enamel Pin Series
[edit]Released on November 3, 2017, the Enamel Pin Series consisted of blindboxed pin badges, as was the style at the time. There were 20 to collect in total, and they were provided to retailers in cases of 20, but each pin badge was produced in different quantities, meaning some were rarer than others. The two "chase" pins were "Grimlock Blue Metallic" and "Series Logo", which had a rarity of one in every 80 pins. In a break from the norm, the releases named "GI Joe / Cobra Logos" and "Transformers logos" actually featured two pin badges in one box, in the form of each franchise's faction insignias.

Vinyl Mini Series
[edit]The Vinyl Mini Series released on November 14, 2017, and consisted of blindboxed figurines. Each mini stood approximately three inches tall, and typically featured articulation in each shoulder. A handful even included accessories! There were 18 in total to collect, and they were sold in cases of 24. The rarest figures in this series were "Grimlock Blue Metallic" and Serpentress.

Medium Figure Series
[edit]Also referred to as "art figures", the Medium figures stood at seven inches tall and were essentially upscaled versions of the Mini figures. In addition to articulated shoulders, the Medium figures also had turning heads. Each standard retail release was accompanied by a variant deco that was limited to 200 pieces and exclusive to Kidrobot's online store. Unlike the rest of the line, these were sold in open-faced boxes.

Vinyl Keychain Series
[edit]Joining the line on December 1, the Vinyl Keychain Series featured the same designs again but scaled down to about one-to-two inches. They were also sold blindboxed, and each included a keychain on the figure's head. Unlike the other series, the keychains featured no articulation. There were 10 to collect, and they were sold in cases of 24. The rarest in this series were "Grimlock Blue Metallic" (again) and Scarlett.

Skateboard decks
[edit]
The odd duck out, Kidrobot also produced a set of two skateboard decks, emblazoned with art by Scioli taken from early in the comic's lifespan. These were likely intended as collector's items rather than sports equipment, being limited to 150 pieces each and not including trucks or wheels. Both decks were available from the Kidrobot website in November.
