Chess is an Earthly game originating from a landmass known to the squishy fleshlings that inhabit it as India. Because of the Hungry Dragon campaign, two versions of this game include pieces based on an elaborate cover-up by an autonomous government agency.
It is not Fullstasis.

It is entirely possible that more tiers would have been added had the campaign been successful.
