| The name or term "Beast Wars" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Beast Wars (disambiguation). |

Transformers: Beast Wars is an ongoing comic series from IDW Publishing that ran from February 2021 to June 2022. A reboot of the Beast Wars premise, the series arrived in time for the 25th anniversary.
| “ | Beast Wars is a beloved part of the Transformers legacy. That’s why we couldn’t pass up launching a new series in tandem with the 25th anniversary! Erik and Josh are going to take everything that’s beloved about Beast Wars — the characterization, the drama, the jokes — and start fresh with a series that will feel at home for fans of 25 years and first-timers alike. | ” |

Overview
[edit]In a future era, Cybertron is home to the Maximals and Predacons. When a new Megatron leads a villainous gang to steal a Golden Disk and a time machine, Optimus Primal must lead a heroic team to stop them.
Creative team
[edit]The series is written by Erik Burnham, who previously wrote Transformers/Ghostbusters. Josh Burcham, known for Last Stand of the Wreckers and More than Meets the Eye, draws the art, save for a few issues drawn by Winston Chan in his place.
