Rather than being pulled back to Cybertron at the end, Grimlock would have appeared in Cybertronian Hell and, in a similar vein as IDW's 2016 book Godzilla in Hell, would battle his way to a final conflict with his god the Necrobot. This series had been greenlit but IDW's loss of the license meant it would ultimately never see fruition and the end of the book was changed to be more final. [2]
