Transformers Generations (トランスフォーマー ジェネレーション) is a series of yearly guidebooks produced largely by Hero-X Publishing detailing and chronicling the Transformers franchise, especially as it pertains to Japan. While they are, unsurprisingly, primarily concerned with acting as a catalog of the year's product, they also function as the primary regular source of interviews with the TakaraTomy design team and other behind the scenes tidbits from the Japanese side of the brand.

[edit]In addition to their bevvy of real-world material, each edition of Transformers Generations typically features a small piece of fiction from a major creator on the brand. The content of these stories varies, but on balance they usually either supplement the creators' existing body of work or advertise the year's premium product.
