In the past, Springer was part of the Wreckers unit assembled by Ultra Magnus. He served under the beck and call of his leader, witnessing silently when Ultra Magnus was forced to intercede between a confrontation between Senator Shockwave and fellow Wrecker Impactor. Shattered Glass II #1

In the present day, Springer was part of the Bodyscrapper unit whom Blurr outpaced in his own pursuit of Sixshot. Shattered Glass #1

He was later part of the group called on by Slicer to lash Jetfire to the ground.
