Some Cybertronians are just better suited to certain jobs. Whether as a factor of their design, armament, and integrated equipment, or simply a love of certain activities, many [[Transformer]]s settle into fairly stable combat or civilian roles within [[Cybertron (planet)|Cybertron]]'s social strata. One of the recurring elements of toy bios is the characters' function, typically a one-to-two-word encapsulation of the character's "job" on their team.
