User talk:SFH
Hi, SFH. An anon editor recently changed your wording in the Archibald Witwicky article, replacing "devil man" with "Ice man". It looks like you put the word devil in twice in an early revision to the page. Were you quoting some specific source, or is the change to ice man just as accurate? --Steve-o 20:34, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
- I could have sworn I saw Witwicky say "Devil man" in the prequel comics. I'll have to check again. -- SFH 21:24, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

Sorry for the IP Jumper, Hacker and Brother of mine
[edit]Sorry for my Brother you blocked due to his obsession of war units. He was arrested for hacking into my computer and murdering to many US troopers. Don't worry of him. Hey who changed my name to Spearhead? My brother the IP Jumper is executed yesterday for hacking and lets all including you celebrate a party for the execution of the hacker. I promise to be nicer than that other guy as long as I visit.(Spearhead 04:44, 7 October 2007 (UTC))
- ...They do not execute people for hacking! And first you said he was executed for murdering a teacher! Now it's US troops?! -- SFH 05:18, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
He did both like Blackout in the film. Have you read I am his smaller brother and he bullied me for a long time.(Spearhead 05:21, 7 October 2007 (UTC))

Yeah, yeah I understand. But why cant we make this something truly impressive and not just a bad joke?
- Going around screaming NO FUNNY is not the way to get things changed. Nor is vandalizing userpages. -- SFH 05:24, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
i didnt go around screaming .. i said it once and the removing of the "o" was funny
Screencaps
[edit]Hey dude, thanks for the movie screencaps! :D Can you do me a favour? In the future, could you state what continuity the screencaps are from in their filenames? Eg, 'Starscream missiles' is a rather generic name given we have several Starscreams, and they've all fired missiles at some point. If we are to enforce such a rule on random anons and new members, we have to enforce it upon our established members too :) --FFN 13:41, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
- I will do that in the future. -- SFH 14:56, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks mate :D --FFN 15:03, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
community consensus comment?
[edit]What the hell are you talking about? --MistaTee 18:16, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, that was inappropriate, but where exactly was the discussion on the changing how the quotes in comics are done? -- SFH 18:23, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
- I don't know, they seem to be inconsistent throughout so I was just trying to bring some consistency to it. If the way you changed it is the "official" way we do it, I'm fine with that. We should have a template page or some sort of indicator about how stuff like this is done so people won't have to waste time doing it wrong and going back to correct. --MistaTee 18:34, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
- Tee's right -- there is absolutely NO consensus on quote formats. Throughout the episode and issue pages, they're all over the place. A standard is needed, and then it should be prominently linked from the main help page.
- On a related note, is there a reason why one-sentence summaries are bolded for comic book issues, but not for cartoon episodes? I like the bolded approach better, myself. -- Repowers 18:37, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
- Pure inconsistency. I think theya re bolded on some episodes too. I also favor a bold approach! -Derik 05:18, 4 December 2007 (UTC)

moving the bold text above the nav box
[edit]Don't you think the intro text looks better below the comic nav box? It provides a separation between the nav box and the automatic nav that wikipedia adds. --MistaTee 03:31, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
- I suppose. -- SFH 05:00, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
Criminals are hot
[edit]I noticed you took out the snarky remark on Reggie Simmons' page about him having a fetish for criminals. I guess I can't blame you. Then again, he didn't seem to be at all interested in hiding it, since he did say
"She's a criminal! And criminals are HOT!"
I guess it's up to you whether or not you still find the remark offensive. Hypnometal 08:27, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
Along Came a Spider
[edit]While I don't especially object to the details of Bumblebee and Bulkhead's costumes, I left them out on purpose. Just covering the details required for foreshadowing and such made the synopsis long as it is. I felt the costume details were unnecessary and would only slow down the pace.--Apcog 00:49, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
- I won't object if you remove them. -- SFH 00:51, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
- Appreciate your understanding. I just wanted you to be aware of my reasoning beforehand.--Apcog 01:51, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
Title shots
[edit]Whoa, whoa, slow down there! We still haven't finished debating about whether we should use boring, redundant title cards or use screen captures that encapsulate the episode, or are poignant in some way. --FFN 06:05, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- Ooops. Sorry, didn't know that. But some warning before hand would have been appreciated.
- Warning? I didn't even know you were going to upload a bunch of them. It's other people's fault if they're putting up {{picsneeded}} with title card requests :D --FFN 06:40, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry, I didn't clarify that. I meant warning somewhere after I uploaded a few title shots, instead of telling me after I had finished uploading all the ones I had. -- SFH 06:46, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- I wasn't on the wiki at the time, so I only noticed after the fact. --FFN 07:40, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
I would suggest cutting off those black bars on the edges of your screen captures before uploading them, because they look really bad. --FFN 03:16, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

You contribute a lot of useful stuff here, and we appreciate it, but your write-ups are often riddled with poor phrasing and syntax. If we ask it of new people, we need to ask it of ourselves.--Apcog 23:13, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
- Okay, that's it. I have written them, reread them after I'm done, and do you want to know something?: They still make sense to me! Never mind the fact that sometimes the letters I hit get into some random word order where it starts writing a word in another word, or that there can be such a lag I can write out several words before they appear on the wiki, but a lot of the word order I write still makes sense to me. And I'm not dyslexic. I've been confirmed for ADD and tested for a bunch of stuff as a kid, but no dyslexia was discovered. And yet it seems I still can't write correctly. That's why I didn't put an episode summary for Velocity on until yesterday. For the last few weeks, I've been writting the summaries of the Animated episodes. But I still can't seem to get it right. Well, I'm sorry. You get what you pay for, and I do this for free. If you guys think my writing is so poor, then you can get the informaiton out.
I'm not writing episode summaries anymore. You guys start doing them again. -- SFH 00:27, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
- Whoa guys! Calm down. --FFN 04:09, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
- I AM calm. I attempted to phrase my criticism as mildly and constructively as possible.
- I wasn't accusing you of any dyslexic typing, SFH. You simply have some odd grammar, spelling and so on (e.g., "let only being" instead of "let alone being" in your recent Lugnut edit). I merely asked that, even though you are a worthy contributor, you should be more careful. I'm sorry if you took it offensively; it's nothing I don't ask of myself, since I make errors which I should know better about too. Actually, looking at your summary for "Velocity" a lot of the corrections I made were more to minor typos and inaccurate noun-pronoun associations. My memories may be exaggerated, or perhaps you're improving over what I remember. Regardless, please rest assured I was doing my best NOT to offend you even as I tried to get the matter off my chest. If you still don't want to do summaries any more, that's your decision, of course.--Apcog 05:09, 18 May 2008 (UTC)

ARRGH HELP!
[edit]Okay, as has been stated before, some of my recent screen captures have been particularly dark. I was using a WinDVD 5 which did not have a gamma adjust feature on it. Recently, I have purchased WinDVD 9, which does feature a gamma adjust and screen capture capabilities...
Yet it won't tell me how to save the images to my computer, or tell me how to set the "email picture" to allow me to set it to my address.

- Eire, I want to tell you something. Earlier, I had gotten some complaints that my images were too dark. My earlier WinDVD player didn't have a gamma adjust in them, so I bought a new one to brighten them up. Now I'm getting a complaint that my images are too bright. Optimus rescuing Vince
[edit]I've previewed a HD screencap of that image and there's still nothing pictorially interesting even when brightened. It's just Optimus sticking his arm into a red blob. If we ought to illustrate that paragraph it'd be better to just use Optimus raising an eyebrow.
I recall David's instructions for screencapping non-cel animation, it's best to brighten images and not go for action shots as motion is key to making them interesting. Alientraveller 16:37, 10 April 2011 (EDT)
