- Flameout is an Autobot Titan Master from the Titans Return of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Flameout is the Titan Master partner to Twin Twist. He can provide his host with the ability to target other bots' transformation cogs and trigger a mode-switching meltdown.[1]
Toys
[edit]Titans Return
[edit]
- Flameout & Twin Twist (Deluxe Class, 2017)
- Known designers: John Warden (Hasbro), Mark Maher (deco artist)
- Flameout is packaged with Twin Twist, part of the fifth wave of Titans Return Deluxe figures. He is a retool of Freezeout and transforms from a robot into Twin Twists's head, and can fit into the neck socket of any other Titans Return Deluxe-or-larger figure.
- This figure was redecoed into the Headmaster stage of Legends Twin Twist and was retooled into the Headmaster stage of Legends Roadfire.
Legacy
[edit]- Diaclone Universe Twin Twist (Deluxe Class, 2022)
- Known designers: Mark Maher and Evan Brooks (Hasbro, deco only), John Warden (original tooling), AJ Piejko-Brown[2] and Amy Bence[3] (packaging)
- Released in Legacy as part of the Amazon-exclusive Wreck N' Rule Collection, this version of "Diaclone Universe Twin Twist" is a redeco of the Titans Return toy in a Diaclone-inspired color scheme (duh). All the accessories and features are the same as in the Titans Return release. The "Headmaster" module redecoed from Flameout is not called out by name, but Freezeout's analogous release strongly implies the Jumpstarter quartet retain their Titans Return identities and the set's design team confirmed the intent as such.[4]

[edit]Transformers Trading Card Game
[edit]
- Flameout (2020)
- Wave 5: Titan Masters Attack
- Rarity: UT
- Card Number: T21/T46
- Stars: 3
- Flameout is one of forty-six double sided character cards included in Wave 5 of the Transformers Trading Card Game, Titan Masters Attack. As a Titan Master, Flameout begins play in head mode on a character with a body mode. When that character is KO'd, Flameout is deployed in bot mode. In order to represent Flameout's size as a Titan Master, the card is the size of a battle card, about half the size of a normal character card.
- The card's art is based on the Flameout Titan Master included with the Titans Return Twin Twist toy. The head mode artwork is reused from said toy's packaging artwork.
- This card's set was originally set for an April 2020 release, however due to the global COVID-19 pandemic the release was pushed back to May 29, 2020.
