At 8am on [[July 4]]th [[1986]], as Ricky Vasquez was preparing to leave for work at the Hoover dam hydroelectric plant, he was injected with a [[cerebro-shell]] by the [[Decepticon]] [[Bombshell (G1)|Bombshell]] in [[Insecticon (G1)|insect mode]].
