- The Predacon computer is a device from the Beast Wars portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Predacon computer[1] controls the systems of the Darksyde, the ship that serves as headquarters to Megatron's band of Predacons. Although artificially intelligent, with several specific purposes such as analyzing, diagnosing, computing and system controlling, it lacks any personality or emotion, not to mention a spark. Each Predacon is equipped with an onboard computer of the same type.[2]

[edit]
Through the machinations of Tarantulas, NAVI-ko was "warped" into a body of her own, which transformed into a dolphin. She debuted her new form to the bemused Megatron as she presented him information (secretly provided by Tarantulas) on "Nemesis Prime", an evil clone of their ancestor, Optimus Prime. Megatron wanted to add Nemesis Prime to his own forces, so he sent NAVI-ko forward in time via a transwarp portal to Doctor Arkeville's Decepticon Base in Yokohama, Japan, in the year 2014 where Nemesis Prime had been detected.
Once in 2014, NAVI-ko located Nemesis Prime as Doctor Arkeville and Yokohama Prime fought over whose cookie would activate the clone. NAVI-ko claimed Nemesis Prime for herself with her Yokohama Decepticon Cookie. Mach Five Racing Prime, Yokohama Prime, and Kawasaki Prime teamed up to fight Nemesis Prime, but they were blasted away, and NAVI-ko met with the clone after, pointing out the nearby Transformers Expo. She bore witness to Nemesis Prime fighting the Autobots within the Expo and Nemesis's seeming sacrifice to save Yokohama from the explosive interaction of the Dark Energon within himself and the artifacts stored in the Expo—events that Tarantulas sought to bring about as an agent of Unicron. NAVI-ko was saddened by her comrade's death, only for "Yokohama Convoy" to awaken and flirt with her. NAVI-ko didn't have time to respond as Megatron ordered her back to base after the failure of their plan. Yokohama Decepticon Secret Base

Notes
[edit]- The Predacon computer is named as Computer Globe in the Beast Wars Universe guidebook.
- It is likely that the name "NAVI-ko", a combination of "NAVI" and the Japanese feminine ending -ko, is derived from a line of dialogue from Megatron in "Beast Wars (Part 1)", when he asks the Darksyde computer: "Navigation! Is this the right planet?" Japanese regularly abbreviates words and the abbreviation of "navigation" is navi, so it appears that the Japanese production staff misconstrued or perhaps deliberately repurposed Megatron's declaration of "Navigation!" as the computer's name.
- In the Expo Campaign comic, NAVI-ko interacts with characters from the "Cybertron Satellite" promotion, all of whom are redecoed Legends Class and Cyberverse Legion figures. In keeping with this, her dolphin body is based on a redecoed Cyberverse Airachnid, sans rotors, but with fins that plug into the 3 mm ports on her shoulders and back.
