[edit]Dolphin's Bay was home to a number of dolphin. While collecting black coral, Bumblebee became trapped at the bottom of the bay. Skids was able to use the Star mini-submarine's computer to decode the dolphins' language and ask them to help the smaller Autobot. Three of the dolphins were able to free Bumblebee. [edit]The Ocean Research Institute of California kept a number of dolphins. When one of Baney Aquarium's dolphins became sick, they sent it to Diver at the institute for treatment. A Hero Is Chosen - His Name Is Ginrai When he was captured and tied up by the Decepticons, Diver had Tony use his watch to send an ultra-sonic signal. The dolphins at the institute reacted wildly to the signal, alerting the Autobots there that something was up. They released the dolphins and followed them to the island where Diver was being held. [edit]Griffin Rock held a yearly Dolphin Wonder Festival, drawing tourists to the island to see the dolphins which swam near the island. Mayor Luskey used beacons which made squid-like noises to draw the dolphins to the island, but ended up accidentally trapping a whole pod in the island's wetlands. Woodrow Burns, who had previously communicated with dolphins in the Marshall Islands, attempted to instruct the dolphins on how to escape, though it took him a couple of attempts to find the right dolphin dialect.
