The Animorphs are a human and alien subgroup from the Animorphs continuity.

"The Animorphs" can't tell you who they are, or where they live. It's too risky, as the Yeerks are among us. Their only power to combat this empire of alien slugs is the ability given to them by the Andalite Prince Elfangor: by touching any animal, they may acquire that creature's form. Though only a small group of kids, they are Earth's only chance for survival.

Vector Prime clarified that the universe in which the Animorphs fought in was not part of the Transformers multiverse, but of the wider Megaverse. It was close enough to the Transformers' realities for some small bit of reality drift however, explaining why it had come to be associated with the Transformers in the first place.
