[edit]Seeking to take control of the SPS Satellite, Cobra attacked the SPS Research Facility. Destro led the attack from a reprogrammed Soundwave, with Sideswipe and Sunstreaker along for the ride. The attackers hadn't expected G.I. Joe to be there defending the facility, however, and three cassette robots were killed during the initial attack stage. Rumble managed to dodge enemy fire and use his piledrivers to raze one of the facility's buildings, but was defeated by Bumblebee while Wheeljack took care of Soundwave, Sideswipe and Sunstreaker.
