This article is about the non-screen drones from the 2007 movie franchise. For the on-screen Revenge of the Fallen Constructicon, see Scrapper (ROTF). For a list of other meanings, see Scrapper (disambiguation).
Scrappers are mass-produced Autobot/Decepticon units from the Transformers portion of the movie continuity family.
Not Spoons. He'd come later.

Scrapper units are machines that convert into forklifts. Both the Autobot and Decepticon armies make use of these drones, which are small and quick fighters. They are also physically weak, making them more annoying than deadly.

He is completely unrelated to that other Constructicon guy who just happens to share the same name.

Battle for the Allspark

[edit]
Mixmaster was used as the basis for a chassis available to players as their combatant for the Battle for the Allspark game. Units using this body came in two variations. Autobot-aligned units had a helmet and facemask that vaguely resembled Optimus Prime, while the Decepticon-aligned units had the single-lens design seen in other film-related media.
Scrapper units can be either Autobot (top) or Decepticon (bottom)

Scrapper units had equal Attack & Defense skills, with a Speed boost. Battle for the Allspark

Transformers: The Game (console)

[edit]

The weakest of the Transformer drone-models, Scrappers are light on their feet and vicious melee combatants when up close. They are armed with small rocket launchers, but they don't use them often. They primarily show up to harass the Autobots in Tranquility, but they also arrive in vast numbers to tackle Megatron in Mission City.

To defeat them, follow the following tips: SMASH! SHOOT! WILD ATTACKS! They just go boom in one or two hits. Transformers The Game

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (PSP)

[edit]

Scrapper drones were one type of Decepticon that only attacked Autobots in melee combat. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (PSP)

Notes

[edit]
I Can't Believe It's Not Scrapper! ®
  • Artist Ken Christiansen designed Scrapper, along with the other new characters in the Transformers - The Game and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen - The Game video games.
  • The Scrapper drone was one of two types of drone whose names were put up for voting on the game's web-site (which was a pretty good indication that they're weren't going to be getting toys, the other being Mixmaster). The other names came from past Transformers characters, including:
  • Although there has technically never been a toy officially representing Scrapper (unlike most other drones who had their own figures), it's pretty clear that Dirt Boss from the Revenge of the Fallen toyline is directly based on his design, albeit featuring a different color scheme. He would later get an orange repaint named Deadlift, only further making the similarities between the two characters even more uncanny.
