Hoshinochō (星野町, "Star Field Town") is the hometown of Wataru Hoshinoumi. Eleven years ago, a meteorite hit the town, leading to a cover-up of the impact site. Since then, Hoshinochō was nicknamed "Japan's Roswell", with the appropriate gamut of rumors and conspiracies of UFOs, ghosts, and secret military bases.
