[edit]Frenzy partook in the successful attack on the Ark's launching platform as part of Megatron's ground troops. Shattered Glass
When the Ark launched for a second time, Frenzy accompanied Soundwave to Earth in the pursuit on the Nemesis, and his escape pod landed near Soundwave's after the ship was shot down by the humans. He then joined in on the search for the Nemesis. The Desert Heat!
Soundwave, Heatwave, and the cassettes eventually discovered the Nemesis' crash site, and the small group of scientists that was snooping around it. Frenzy was nice enough to explain to Professor Arkeville and Sephie what was going on, and calmly chastised Ravage for deciding to chase Will and Rick around playfully instead.
He later was a part of the attempt to take Burpleson Air Force Base back from the Autobots, teaming up with Soundwave, Will, and Rick. They were able to sneak in with a cover story, then Frenzy and the humans moved deeper into the base while Soundwave took off to help on other fronts.
Unfortunately, they eventually encountered Goldbug, which forced them to come up with a plot to deal with him. Will and Rick blinded the Autobot with fire-retardant foam, and Frenzy knocked him back against the wall with his sonic pistols. He then grabbed up Goldbug's gun, and the three took off running away from Goldbug. Once Goldbug wiped off enough of the foam to regain his vision, he chased after them down the hall.
As the three reached the control room, Frenzy told the two humans to go on ahead while he dealt with Goldbug, who had almost caught up with them. He then started to build up a tremendous rage, his armor vibrating and his optics turning bright white as his captured gun started bending in his grip. He then stalked towards Goldbug, oil dripping from his mouth and joints whining, before pouncing on the freaked-out Autobot. There was much pummeling involved. Eye in the Sky
Frenzy was seen at Decepticon headquarters after Blitzwing's misadventures with the O-Pod. Blitzwing Bop

Notes
[edit]- In his debut appearance from Fun Publications, SG Frenzy seems to use G1 Eject's colors, though the lighting makes it hard to tell. Years later, John-Paul Bove would interpret this scheme in a more clear view on the Siege Frenzy toy body for the IDW comic.[1]
- Rodimus had a low opinion of Frenzy and the other "tapes", declaring that they were only worth 15 points.
- Why they turned into tapes on Cybertron is best not dwelt on, especially since a mini-SD card would be more useful.
- His personality in Fun Publications' stories is similar to Bill Bixby's portrayal of David Banner, the human alter-ego of the Hulk in the 1978 live-action series.
