- A Walmart exclusive for the 2003 Universe toyline, this version of Side Burn is a repaint of the Robots in Disguise "Super" Side Burn toy, transforming into a Dodge Viper with an exposed engine. His rear bumper detaches to form a hand-held spring-loaded missile launcher that uses his tailpipe as the projectile.
- An actual repaint, he uses the same base plastics as Super Side Burn, but with black paint added over the red on the car mode parts (though the bumpers are still red), and a carbon-fiber pattern added to the hood, along with a giant Autobot insignia on the car roof. The gun/knife was also dechromed and was cast in silver plastic. The Dodge Viper logo was added to the front of the car, as it had been for his mold-mates Shadow Striker and Roulette.
- This mold also provided inspiration for the non-toy characters NightViper and Spikestrip.
