The firing Stinger Tail is a weapon accessible to Aximili-Esgarrouth-Isthill when he is in his scorpion morph. Though presumably organic in nature, it is a mystery what the inner-workings of this weapon are, seeing as scorpions do not normally have the ability to fire their stingers as projectiles. They're terrifying enough without said feature, to be honest.
