The Transformers Cards are cards containing barcodes to be used in Sega's Transformers Animated: The Chase and Transformers Animated: The Shooting arcade card-reading games. Most of the cards contain Animated characters, but a few contain Generation 1 characters, often based on their Masterpiece toys.
There are two variations of cards that can be obtained. The first uses images that are based on photos of the toys and can be bought at both machines themselves, the resulting card being random between Autobots, Decepticons, and Masterpiece.
