Theft of the Golden Disk

[edit]

As part of a plan of Cryotek's to steal the Golden Disk, Megatron, "Dinobot" and Dirge attacked the central branch of the Cybertropolis Maximal Data Archive. Cutting a way through the wall, they intended to walk down the hallway in front of them until Dirge spotted a standard security web, which he surmised would be a problem. Megatron contacted Team Alpha at Maximal Power Station B4-Y with the order to shut down the Archive's energy supply immediately.

It took a little while, but eventually the security grid went down and the Predacons moved in before emergency power would be activated. While Dirge kept guard outside, "Dinobot" went in first, knocking out a guard in a large hall filled with statues. He and Megatron entered the vault containing the Data-Con Cryotek had asked for. While "Dinobot" planted a timebomb, Megatron uploaded the data and transmitted it to "Tarantulas" in order to triplecross his boss. The duo then fled the Archive, running right into a Maximal Command Security Force squad. Sending off Dirge with an empty Data-Con (but for a tracking bug), Megatron and "Dinobot" fought off the security forces and proceeded to the location of the Golden Disk. Theft of the Golden Disk
