:Well, the Preds used CR tanks, which (to me) appeared to be pools of liquid energy. To be honest, I think the tank Hot Shot was dunked in was a visual homage to the Bacta tank from Empire Strikes Back, knowing the japanese enjoyment of SW. --FFN 05:41, 27 March 2007 (UTC)

I always thought that CR stood for Cybernetic Repair/Restoration.  It just made more sense to me.  -- Magnatronix 5:22 AM, April 23, 2011

Cryogenic doesn't sound logical when describing the repair bays.  I always thought that CR stood for Cybernetic Repair/Restoration.  It just makes more sense.

Is there a reason why we have so little on the Predacons' C/R Tank thing in the cartoon section? Feels like there should be more there, unless I'm missing something. Escargon (talk) 10:34, 28 May 2021 (EDT)

Doesn't Cryogenics mean freezing the subject? The Beast bots were shown to be distinctly unfrozen and partially aware while inside. To answer Derik's question, Energon featured energon regeneration tanks. Hot Shot was put in one after Megatron tore his arm off at the end of episode 6. --FFN 03:15, 27 March 2007 (UTC)

It does, and that doesn't make sense, but there you go.
I want to say there was some idea of CR chambers being a mroe advanced form of therapy than energon pools- but I cant' back this up.
I need to see what they called the repair chambers int he Armada comic. -Derik 05:30, 27 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit]

should the part about the dinobots say reptillian flesh not mammalian? --Name Violation 01:09, 26 January 2010 (EST)

Yep. The "mammalian" phrase is a direct quote from the comic, but it should say reptilian in this reference.--SuzyP 07:48, 26 January 2010 (EST)

The Predacon tanks

Is there a reason why we have so little on the Predacons' C/R Tank thing in the cartoon section? Feels like there should be more there, unless I'm missing something. Escargon (talk) 10:34, 28 May 2021 (EDT)
