The Transformers

[edit]
The Transformers Blast Off came with two sonic cannons, as identified in his instructions, that could be attached to his space shuttle mode or his legs in robot mode.
This toy was available as part of a Bruticus giftset and reissued many times, additionally its mold was used to make Shuttle Gunner and Movor.

  • Brawl (Combaticon, 1986/1987)
The Transformers Brawl came with a double-barrelled weapon that could attach to his tank mode, identified as a twin sonic cannon in his instructions and packaging bio.
This toy was also available as part of a Bruticus giftset and reissued many times; its mold was additionally used to make Sandstorm and Armorhide.

According to Scorponok's packaging bio, his defense base mode is armed with an anti-aircraft sonic cannon.

  • Accessories: helicopter, 3 ramps, radar dish, rotor blade, 2 guns, front gun, figure stand
Skyhopper's helicopter is armed with a sonic cannon, according to his packaging bio. In Japan, the helicopter was redecoed into the Sky Hyper.

Generation 2

[edit]
  • Brawl (Combaticon, 1994)
  • Accessories: electron gun, twin sonic cannon
For Generation 2, Brawl was redecoed along with his twin sonic cannon. Although it is not identified (nor even pictured) in his instructions, it is referenced in his packaging bio.

Notes

[edit]
  • Blast Off's sonic cannons don't exist much beyond his instructions; his bio ambiguously states that he shoots powerful x-ray laser, while his Marvel Universe profile specifies he can emit a powerful x-ray laser from his shuttle's nosecone, ignoring the cannons altogether. His Generation 2 instructions refer to them only as cannons, though his bio now states that he shoots powerful x-ray laser cannons in shuttle mode. His Dreamwave More than Meets the Eye profile notes that he is armed with two cannons of unspecified type on his legs in robot mode.
