* According to the ''[[Micron Legend Year Book 2003]]'' retrospective, the X-Dimension color schemes were planned to be used in an alternate-universe comic story that would follow the conflict from the viewpoint of the Mini-Cons. However, this series was never produced, and no reason is given as to why. A comic series from the perspective of Mini-Cons, ''[[Linkage]]'', was produced and packaged with the ''Micron Legend'' DVDS, but it takes place within the same universe as the cartoon.

Andromeda interviewed Needlenose, who off-handedly mentioned sending the Zephyr Blade Mini-Con Team to their deaths in the X-Dimension.   • The existence of the X-Dimension Mini-Cons stem from a misunderstanding of the "Exdimensions" term, meant to indicate those characters' extra-universal origin (but yet the same characters in a parallel world), as "X-Dimension", a location in itself. Ask Vector Prime would continue with this concept by repurposing the Exdimensions toys as new characters using the Mini-Cons' Japanese names while creating new team names.
