During the waning days of [[Cybertron (planet)| Cybertron's]] [[Golden Age]], Boom and Sonic were wondering around the [[Dead End (place)| Dead End]] where they decided to beat up a dozy [[Drift (G1)| Drift]], who had overdosed on some drugs. They only managed to punch him once before Sonic was shot in the arm by an unknown attacker. The attacker revealed himself to be the "supercop" called [[Optimus Prime (G1)| Orion Pax]]. Pharma covered this up as them being Decepticon prisoners and informed everyone they broke out during the [[Red Rust]] virus outbreak (which Pharma had caused).
