Synopsis
[edit]North of Gimje, South Korea, Megatron is expressly angry with Starscream, threatening severe punishment for disobeying his orders. All Starscream can do is laugh and boast that his Project: Unite abilities make him more powerful than everybody on the battlefield. The Autobots initially stand and watch, but Optimus Prime orders an intervention, as Megatron cannot be allowed to obtain the secrets of Unite technology. Ratchet is on his way with a "fix" for the situation.
The three Autobot subordinates attack Starscream while Optimus handles Megatron. Megatron, angry at the interference, summons Decepticon troops of his own, and the entire battle becomes a frenzied battle royal. Ratchet arrives with his "fix", a gun that forcibly removes and destroys the Unite technology on Starscream. Starscream faints and Megatron, realizing the cause is lost, retreats. Optimus Prime comments on how the Autobots' quest for stronger weapons nearly doomed Earth and resolves that fortitude and valor should be their only shield and sword.

Notes
[edit]- This comic, along with the past four chapters, was printed in the pages of Transformers Generations 2011 Volume 1. Presumably, it would have come packaged with a "Unite for the Universe" toy.
- The NEST transport plane carrying Ratchet in this comic is drawn to look like Stratosphere, but lacks his distinct colour scheme and is never identified as being the Autobot.
- Insecticon is oddly enough, as large as a regular Decepticon, instead of being the size of a real insect like in the movies. Furthermore, he can talk!
