The Iaconian Mechaforensic Division (sometimes Mechaforensics Division or I.M.D.) is a Cybertronian police organization that looks into criminal cases.

[edit]Prior to the Great War, Flatfoot of Polyhex Minor was the head of the organization. At the time, Prowl and Tumbler were attached to the division and were investigating a string of murders seemingly associated with the growing Decepticon movement.
