[edit]Mulder and his colleague Dana Scully helped the Lone Gunmen verify some emails purporting to be from the future that warned of an imminent virus attack. Sometime later, having teamed up with the Autobots Optimus Prime and Bumblebee to investigate Skylogic Systems, the Lone Gunmen were able to identify their chief suspect as David Simmons.
