The name or term "Slog" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Slog (disambiguation).
Slog is an Autobot Dinobot from the Age of Extinction portion of the movie continuity family.
Not coming to a theater near you.

Slog is dumb. Really dumb. Even Grimlock can out-smart him. But it actually proves strategic, as all his brain cells have been traded to pure robot muscle. As a warrior from Cybertron's ancient past who transforms into a robotic Apatosaurus, he can take out any opponent (provided that any of the other Dinobots can point him in the right direction).

Age of Extinction

[edit]
Digivolves from Skullgreymon.
  • Slog (Voyager Class, 2014)
Part of the third wave of Age of Extinction Generations Voyager Class figures, Slog transforms from a barbarian themed robot into an amalgam of an Apatosaurus and a Brachiosaurus with spikes adorning its backside. He includes two large lance-like weapons and two smaller dual-headed clubs of some sort.
Something not shown in the instructions is that Slog’s dinosaur mode front legs (his robot mode forearms) can be rotated at two different points to reveal extra texture details underneath.
Slog's factory applied silver paint app on his robot mode mouth is very similarly colored to his head's grey plastic, making it hard to notice unless viewed under a bright light. In some instances this silver paint app is missing from the figure because the factory didn't notice it was missing during manufacturing.
This mold was also redecoed (and later slightly retooled) into Generations Slog.

Pairs well with Grimlock G1 Color Ver. and Dinobot Slug G1 Color Ver.
  • Slog (Voyager Class, 2014)
  • 18 OF 30
18 of 30 in the Thrilling 30 collection, this version of Slog comes in Generation 1 colors, and was exclusive to Amazon. It seemingly complements the four-pack of similarly-themed Dinobot redecos released at San Diego Comic-Con 2014.

  • Dinobots Unleashed 5-Pack (Platinum Edition, 2014)
  • Accessories: Two-piece spiked maul
Redecoed from the Age of Extinction Voyager Class figure, Slog sports a vaguely screen-accurate gray color scheme, with heavy use of chrome and transparent plastic. He comes packaged with similarly-themed redecoes of Scorn, Slug, Strafe, and Grimlock.
