S.S. Exton 9 is a peaceful and unsuspecting scientific space station orbiting high above Andellor. The Decepticons are interested in it, not for the research and development that goes on there, but for the ready human workforce that they can utilize for their own energy research.
The station's resources include a library, meeting halls, and a landing bay with a contingent of spacecraft. Its crew includes Professor Bush.

[edit]Galvatron led a small team of Decepticons to S.S. Exton 9, using their new suspension-ray beam to paralyze the station's personnel. A group of children, spared the beam, headed for the station's landing bay, where they encountered Cosmos, who had just arrived on the station for a look around. The children persuaded him to take them to Andellor to retrieve the Prism of Power, the only thing capable of counteracting the Decepticon weapon.
