| The name or term "Roadbuster" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Roadbuster (disambiguation). |

Roadbuster (ロードバスター Rōdobasutā) is a Wrecker, but unlike most other members of the volatile team, possesses a gentle, friendly and serious-minded personality. Sometimes he can get a bit too serious, though, and get bogged down by his doubts about the future, uncertain what will happen to him if peace is ever achieved and he won't be of use anymore. Skilled at both fighting and weapons engineering, Roadbuster wields the "Caliber Arms" (キャリバーアームズ Kyaribā Āmuzu), a collection of weapons of his own design that can combine in various ways.

- Roadbuster (3-21-2015)
- ID number: TFC-A04
- Accessories: Launcher, missile, missile pod, pistol, rifle, cannon/rifle stock, cannon/rifle scope
- Roadbuster is a red and blue redeco of Generations Voyager-class Roadbuster as a homage to Energon Ironhide (whose Japanese name was Roadbuster). He transforms into a Cybertronian off-road vehicle and comes with the "Calibur Arms", a large number of weapons that peg via 5 mm post onto his vehicle rear/legs, shoulders, upper/lower arms, and hands: a spring-loaded, missile-firing launcher, a pistol, a rifle, and two small cannons that respectively form the scope and stock of the rifle. All of his weapons can combine to form an unwieldy superweapon.
- The first 500 customers who preordered Roadbuster got one of three randomly-packed free gifts: one of two Arms Microns (Shining O.P. or Autobot Firebolt Clear Yellow Ver.), or the Convoy [Anniversary Clear Ver.] EZ Collection toy.
- This mold was also used to make the BotCon 2015 General Optimus Prime, and served as the basis of the non-toy Beast Wars: Uprising incarnations of Killer Punch and Guiledart.

[edit]
- Roadbuster -Radiant Edition- (2026)
- Series: Blokees Wheels Transformers 02 - Wreck & Rule!
- Pull rate: 5/144
- Accessories: Driver figure
- One of the two chase kits with a slim pull rate, the "Radiant Edition" Roadbuster is a primarily metallic redeco of the original Roadbuster vehicle, representing both his Super Link and Cloud's paint job. While everything else is molded in ABS plastic, the main vehicle shell is made out of "2.5x density" Solidex to evoke the feeling of die-cast cars like Hot Wheels. He uses the same universal Chassis Connector as the rest of the lineup, and his canopy can be opened to allow the included translucent greenish-blue driver minifigure to sit inside.
Notes
[edit]- Roadbuster's Caliber Arms weapons are named after Mugen Caliber, the Special Armored Trooper Dorvack toy used to make Generation 1 Roadbuster.
- Because said toy was still available in Japan at the time, Roadbuster's 1985 toy could not be sold as such there, nor could he appear in the cartoon or US Marvel comics—thus making Super Link Roadbuster (that is, Energon Ironhide) the original "Roadbuster" as far as Cloud's Japanese target audience is concerned.
