Data discs are a form of storage media used by Transformers.

[edit]Shockwave kept the information in his laboratory stored on data discs. Smokescreen managed to steal a number of them, though most of those he stole were damaged in a battle with the Decepticon. Ratchet still managed to retrieve information from a few of them, including Shockwave's cloning process and data on some weapons from a derelict ship. Tales of the Beast Hunters Chapter 13
