Prior to his more legitimate work, Sakamoto spent several years drawing child pornography (which is legal in Japan so long as it is in comic/cartoon form) with titles such as "Little Red Riding Hood Chacha" and "The Puff Puff Girls" (pornographic parodies of ''The Powerpuff Girls'').  Sakamoto has expressed regret over his early works in interviews, fessing up to their deplorable content.

Hayato Sakamoto (坂本勇人 or 坂本ハヤト Sakamoto Hayato) is a Japanese writer and artist. As a fan artist, he has created a good number of Transformers dōjinshi. He has also worked as an assistant to Yuki Ohshima and was one of the compilers of the Japanese Generation 1 cartoon continuity timeline.
