Overview
[edit]On a dystopian Cybertron, Trans-Mutate is part of a small cell of rebels who are protesting the war that their kind are forced to take part in by their cruel masters. Her group breaks into Ferromax Detention Center to rescue their leader Dynobot, however Trans-Mutate is captured. She and Rampage are placed on a ship bound for Garrus-16 which is attacked and destroyed, resulting in the pair landing on a desolate planetoid. They eventually find each other, but discover they are not alone — they're guests of the Destructons. Destructon leader Lord Imperious Delirious believes that the pair will be of tremendous value as allies, but Trans-Mutate rejects his story, having been betrayed before. Delirious then attempts to coerce them forcefully with his Delirious Fire, but the pair are strong together and the Destructons are forced to leave them alone to await rescue by their own kind.
Creative team
[edit]The story arc was written by S. Trent Troop and Greg Sepelak, aside from the prologue which was written by Jesse Wittenrich and Pete Sinclair. Art duties were handled by Naoto Tsushima, with Evan Gauntt on colors and letters by Jesse Wittenrich.
Notes
[edit]- This story features the return of the Destructons, previously only seen in the obscure comic "The War Against the Destructons, Chapter 1 of 3", the remaining two parts of which failed to be published after Blackthorne Publishing went under.
