Among his most famous roles is the loudmouth Mr. Hollywood on 2 Stupid Dogs (which starred Brad Garrett), Doctor Mindbender on G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero, Papa Bear in The Berenstain Bears, Sculptor in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and Nikolai Sokolov in the Metal Gear Solid video games.

He was also the announcer for Walt Disney Home Video, Dreamworks Animation Home Entertainment and the Scooby-Doo animated direct to video films; he also served as the announcer and sidekick to Monty Hall for the first season (1984-85) of The All-New Let's Make a Deal (Dean Goss replaced him for season 2).

He is not related to Jim Cummings.
