- The Firecons are a Decepticon subgroup from the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Firecons are a trio of three fire-breathing monsters, the Decepticon counterparts to the Autobot Sparkabots. Like their counterparts, the toys feature a friction-motor that causes "cold" sparks to shoot from a section of the toy's alternate mode (the mouth, in the case of the Firecons) as well as propelling the toy forward on smooth surfaces. The Firecons were sent to Earth to attempt to pursuade Galvatron to form an alliance with the Decepticons on Cybertron. On Earth they engaged in battle with the Sparkabots (referred to here as the Sparkler Mini-Bots) who had been sent to Earth by Springer to keep watch on Galvatron. Their battle was interrupted by Galvatron himself who rejected the Firecons offer. The Firecons presumably returned to Cybertron afterwards. Enemy Action!
