- Sandstorm is a Decepticon from the Operation Combination portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Sandstorm (サンドストーム Sandosutōmu) is a member of the Battle Gaia team, sent to Earth to capture energy to fuel the Decepticons' conquest.

When Onslaught succeeded in purloining a set of drones intended for Choppermaster, a new combiner, Battle Gaia, was created from his old body's data. - Sandstorm is a redeco of Brawl, transforming into a Leopard 1A3 main battle tank. Using the Scramble City-style of combination, he can form any limb to a compatible torso, though his nominal placement is as the left leg to Battle Gaia. He was only available as part of the Battle Gaia giftset.
- This mold was also used to make the similarly decoed Robots in Disguise Armorhide.
