Ego is a Decepticon Transcendent Technomorph from the TransTech continuity.
Appears as a giant head, but he still isn't a Living Planet.

Ego is the CEO of C-Kar Technologies. He keeps a huge collection of multiversal artifacts, ranging from Cybertron Keys to energon weapons. His obsession with the ancient and archaic is well-known among most of the TransTech, and this, along with his power and wealth, allows his ships to pass in and out of the lowtech sections of the city without hindrance from law enforcement.

Like most powerful CEOs, his face is everywhere—although it's not his face for long; his body is in constant transformation. While his core form may remain the same, panels move fluidly around his robot mode, causing his armor itself to look alive!

As CEO of C-Kar Technologies, he was always one step behind the competition: RoboCo and its arrogant CEO, Bulletbike. So when a lowtech calling himself "Wildfly" offered to sell Ego information on RoboCo's Vehidrones, information that would reveal dangerous flaws in the sentries and undo Bulletbike's contract with the Senate, Ego jumped at the opportunity for negotiation. He met with the lowtech to get the proof and even brought him up to C-Kar for a chat, but basic scans quickly revealed that "Wildfly" was not what he claimed to be. The lowtech was, in fact, his rival Bulletbike. Suffering some serious drawbacks at the time, Bulletbike had arranged to get close to Ego for his own purposes. Using a syringe full of nucleon, he paralyzed Ego's systems and finally beheaded his rival with the Sword of Megatron from Ego's own collection. I, Lowtech
