Toys

No toy of Pulse was ever released. However, he was based on the MC-19 Binocular Robo Scope Man toy from the Micro Change line.

Notes

  • The robot in The War Within #2 was unnamed till Ask Vector Prime retconned him to be the "Pulse" mentioned in "Fragmentation".
  • Though the Micro Change toy itself is mainly blue, its fictional Transformers appearance is mainly yellow. Some of that might be due to lighting.
  • Takara filed a U.S. patent claim for the Micro Change Binocular Robo Scope Man in September 1984, at the same time as other Micro Change figures that were actually reused for Transformers, like Perceptor and Blaster. Whether this means that Scope Man was considered for reuse as well or this was just Takara covering their bases is unknown.
  • "Pulse" was also a preliminary name of Generation 1 Blaster.
