BotCon 2016 will be held in Louisville, Kentucky, from April 7 to April 10, 2016.

Run-up

On September 4, 2015, the date and location of BotCon 2016 were announced.
On October 3, 2015, Botcon.com revealed the BotCon 2016 theme of Dawn of Predacus and the first exclusive of Tripredacus Agent Ravage.
On October 9, 2015, Botcon.com revealed the exclusive Predacon Secret Police Tarantulas.
On October 15, 2015, Botcon.com revealed the exclusive Predacon General Ramhorn.
On October 22, 2015, Botcon.com revealed the exclusive Predacon General Cicadacon.
On October 29, 2015, Botcon.com revealed the exclusive Predacon General Seaclamp.
On November 12, 2015, the brochure went online.
On January 13, 2016, Venus Terzo was announced as a guest.
On January 20, 2016, registration for the event went live.
On February 2, 2016, Fun Publications posted a commercial for the convention on YouTube starring David Kaye as Megatron.
On March 3, 2016, Judd Nelson was announced as a special guest atteneding his first BotCon.
On March 10, 2016, Gregg Berger was announced as a guest.
On March 17, 2016, in a surprising turn of events, Terrorsaur was revealed as the convention's attendee freebie figure.

The convention will be held at the Galt House hotel in Louisville, Kentucky.
