The Asia Premium Series consists entirely of redecos of existing toys from the movie line, each sporting an improved (oftentimes metallic) and more movie-accurate finish and paint applications, plus new accessories in one case.
It takes its name from the Premium Series subline imprint of the 2007 Transformers movie toy line.
