In an unstable Iocus reality created by the machinations of Sideways and Gong, Cut-Up replaced Arblus during the events of the Unicron War. In this version of events, Cut-Up and Crank were survivors of Planet Zi, unfortunately landing on Antares III, home of the Monster GoBots.
