IDW Generation 1 continuity
Having survived the Legislators' attack on Crystal City, the Circle of Light's subsequent abduction by Tyrest, their torture at his hands and a further battle against the Legislators when breaking out of Tyrest's cells, Outrigger elected to remain behind on Luna 1 under the command of Fortress Maximus, the new Duly Appointed Enforcer of the Tyrest Accord. Later he reported to Red Alert that Tyrest's body—kept secure and stabilised in the medbay—had moved its fingers. When they went to investigate, they found that Tyrest had completely vanished. The Sound of Breaking Glass
In the months that followed, Outrigger set up a series of videos he called "Rummaging Through History", aided by his camerabot Beak. Around the anniversary of Tyrest activating his Killswitch, Outrigger spent four days climbing one of the dead Titans on Luna-1. At the apex of his climb, as he celebrated having sixteen whole subscribers, he stumbled upon an active spacebridge, and a diminutive robot standing in front of it. Mistaking them for another Roboid, Outrigger approached, only for the newcomer to slash him across the chest. It turned out that Sentinel had wounded Outrigger so that his associate Sovereign could feast on his spark. Outrigger objecting, hitting the maniacal Titan Master over the head with his crane before rushing out of the Titan. He was soon found by Fortress Maximus, Red Alert, Cerebros and Prowl, battered but alive. Ten to Midnight
After a few minutes of drama involving Sentinel, Cerebros recovered Outrigger and brought him back to citadel to recover. Once Sentinel's mad scheme was foiled, Outrigger was asked by a fully-restored Beak to go with him back to Cybertron, to which he agreed.Last Light
