The Marshall Islands is an island nation located in the Pacific Ocean. The islands were once used by the US to test nuclear weapons.
Fiction
IDW Generation 1 continuity
During the 1960s twenty-three nuclear fusion devices were detonated on Bikini Atoll- leaving high amounts of Strontium-90 and Cesium-137 on the island.
Roughly 50 years later, the EDC set up a base on Bikini Atoll to test Anti-Cybertronian weaponry.
Some time after he arrived on Earth, Alpha Trion was apprehended by the EDC and taken to the Marshall Islands. Full Fathom Five
Jetfire tracked down the location of the EDC's "Mind Bomb" to the Marshall Islands.
