Bolt-bats are a form of wildlife native to both Cybertron and Nebulos. They presumably are easily shocked and amazed by new sights. As well, Sideswipe refers to Cybertronic bolt-bats, implying that there are also bolt-bats native to other planets. S.O.S. Dinobots
It is unknown whether Mindwipe, Sonar, Ratbat, and Nightscream classify as bolt-bats, though Skar definitely is.
Fiction
Beast Wars: Uprising
