During the meeting organized by Hacksaw to discuss the suspicious circumstances surrounding Modus Prime's death, Steel Wind attempted to tune in on the beacon signal transmitted by the trans-hyperwave caster tower. Through this, he found out the signal was being sabotaged. Hacksaw arranged to go in alone to see what the problem was, the Clear Skies Team functioning as backup should the need for it arise.
