Fiction

Of Masters and Mayhem

Rotorbolt was part of a team along with Crash Test, Skyfire, and Wind Sheer which rescued Counterpunch from Gargoid. Subsequently, he joined his comrades in gunning down Counterpunch when it appeared that their comrade was in fact the Autobot Punch. The Truth We Make

Notes

No elbows? No problem.
  • Rotorbolt is based on the Diaclone "Helicopter Type" Triple Changer, which did not see release in the Transformers franchise. Fumes is based on the same toy but in gray.
  • The author of the story stated[1] that he did not intend for Of Masters and Mayhem Rotorbolt to be a version of Universe Rotorbolt, but the Decepticon being a silent type was not fundamentally incompatible with the Predacon's personality. So are they the same "character"? You decide!
  • "Last Sunset" introduced Skyklik, an amnesiac Autobot character based on the same toy as Rotorbolt. Whether or not Skyklik actually IS a version of someone else was left deliberately ambiguous by the author.[2]
