Wind Sheer is a total showoff. He'd rather dazzle and annoy an opponent with fancy flying than enter a straight-up dogfight or strafing run. He's out for fun, and doesn't care if his showman tactics endanger his missions or his teammates.

And if his flying doesn't irk you, his constant talking about how great he is will. The only reason he hasn't been slagged yet by his fellow Decepticons and Predacons is because he actually has the skills to back up most of his boasting.<ref>Robots in Disguise Wind Sheer packaging bio</ref>

Wind Sheer launched an attack on a breakfast cereal packing plant, hoping to find an O-Part in one of the specially-marked boxes. He was opposed by Spychangers Ironhide and Hot Shot, but, grateful for a chance in the spotlight and wanting to prolong it for as long as possible, he buried them in an avalanche of shredded wheat. While they were busy dealing with that, he turned his attention to the various boxes, and was disgusted to find one offering only a maze on the back as a prize, which he considered an act of villainy beneath even him. Wind Sheer and Skyfire were part of a Decepticon squadron stationed near Gargoid. Along with Crash Test, Rotorbolt, and Hexadeathimal, they penetrated to the center of the Autobot base at Gargoid to free their infiltration specialist, Counterpunch, then slaughter their way outwards from the inside while the rest of the Decepticon forces continued attacking from the outside. Everything was going fine until Counterpunch's secondary Autobot personality, Punch, took on a life of its own and attacked his comrades. Once he shot down Crash Test, Wind Sheer and the others turned on him and blasted Punch like the traitor he was. The Truth We Make
