Convobat (コンボバット Konbobatto) is a clone of the deceased leader of the Primus Vanguard. To introduce the traits of of organic life to the next generation of Transformers, Straxus performed experiments that created a new, hybrid form of Cybertronian, with Convobat being a result. With his bat wings, Convobat can swoop and hover in complete silence, making him perfect for Straxus's assassination needs. However, Convobat balks at his forced profession and desires to escape his lot in life.
His only friend is fellow experiment Megalligator and he uses his partner drone Ape X Arms to make up for his lack of firepower.[1]
